Founded by Barbara Savage, Authorial Studios specializes in commercial design with a focus on workplace projects.  The company provides clients with a full roster of services from the beginning stages of the project's concept and visioning through design, construction and project delivery.

Before creating Authorial Studios, Barbara spent nearly 12 years with Stantec (formerly ADD Inc Architecture + Design) beginning as an Intern and eventually earning the role of Senior Associate Principal, co-leading the Workplace Design practice.   During that time, she managed dozens of projects ranging in size from 2,500 sf to 65,000 sf.  Clients appreciate the strong technical knowledge she brings as well as an understanding that form and function go hand-in-hand.

Barbara Savage is a licensed Interior Designer in the State of Florida and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Miami International University of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
